Why Bother?
Well, to be honest, I'm not sure. I've just been thinking. It's all about making decisions in life. Deciding what you want to do, or don't want to do. Deciding who you want to spend time with, how to save or spend money, what to eat, where to go, when to wake up or when to go to sleep. Do you drink, smoke, bite your nails? Should you stop? Should this be a laundry day?
When is the best time to text my sister, who just had a baby? What's for dinner, how much TV is too much, do I really have to answer that phone call? Is it better to get the recycled or non-recycled paper towels? How many reviews are there to help me make this decision, and do I care about the reviews? Where should I keep this flashlight/motor oil/baby hair? If a tree falls in the woods, but no one is there, is it OK for us to harvest it for non-recycled paper towels?
Is there a time when we stop deciding? Yes, when we are dead. Until then, more decisions will be required.
I guess that's why.
